It is a tale of love, lust and heartache, when the destiny of three friends from different backgrounds collide with each other in their quest for happiness. In this romantic comedy drama Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, a rich boy- Raftaar Singh (Jaideep Ahlawat) who is a college topper and the son of a politician meets Pooja (Sana Khan), daughter of a retired armyman whose conservative upbringing leaves her unable to accept anything going against the norm. He is a carefree guy, who is not ready to study further, and she is a disciplined girl who does not believe in love. In spite of these differences, they fall in love with each other. Raftaar’s father wants him to get into politics while Pooja’s father wants her to do a job and earn money on her own. Conflicts over their different ideologies lead them to fight by which both of them get hurt emotionally. Meanwhile, there is also an aspiring actor Sahil (Viraj Bhatt) involved with a sizzling hot item girl named Tulsi (Neha Sharma). This love triangle takes a sudden turn when Tulsi gets pregnant. With their careers at stake, the three lovers are forced to make some tough choices that will have a lasting impact on their lives. Will the three friends be able to overcome all obstacles in their way? Or will they crumble under pressure? It is an endless journey to seek happiness, When destiny leads them in different directions, How will they deal with this? Find out what happens when love becomes a battlefield.
The movie was made with an estimated budget of 8 crores and 16 percent of that amount was spent on promotions for this movie. As of April 2013, the film has collected 2.75 lakhs from its domestic market share. The music was composed by duo Varun-S hebbal and released on 5 March 2014.
